Affirmation...

Staying inspired has not been easy for me lately, but taking a short break has helped.

I know what you mean, I feel I'm coming into a "valley" myself in re: to photography. I need to snap out of it! I do like what you did with this photo tho...the beautiful "water color" colors.

Beautiful image, Nadege. And I hear you, I think we all go through moments of feeling uninspired. I sometimes feel, for myself anyway, it is because I have bitten off more than I can chew. Sometimes I just need to slow down a bit, because I enjoy the process so much more whenever I do. I love your photograph, and even though you aren't feeling inspired as of late, it doesn't show in your work at all.

I think breaks are all part of the process Nadege, we all have our rhythms. I love your image and the words too, beautiful :)

This is such a beautiful image gorgeous flower and textures - it seems hard to believe you've been uninspired - but I know, I've been there . . .

I get what you are saying - it does bring a level of frustration when you want to be doing 'more' but it's just not happening. Glad you were able to take a break. In the meantime and i'm not saying this to make you feel better, I'm very inspired by your image and processing today- and I felt that even before I read your words. Very apt quote too.

Getting into a 'slump' is not fun by any means - but your photographs and what you do to them inspire me all the time and your blog is one of the places I look when I'm having a little slow creative flow of my own - thank you!!

I sort of saw this image in layers or waves. I saw the daisy first and though it was beautiful--it's colors and curve. Then I noticed the pastel background that looked like it had been watercolored. Finally, I noticed the words, very faint, not jumping out at me and jarring my attention from the photo, but really complementing it. And now I see it as a whole. What a wonderful way to experience this lovely image!
