I'm a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother on a treck of self discovery.
I consider myself to be an Aussie even though I was born in France and emigrated to Australia with my parents and sister back in 1969.
I have been involved with horses, my first passion, for most of my life. Due to a back injury and hand operation, I have had to give up some part of that life. My parents bought me my first camera for my 14th birthday and as I became the official family photographer, I developed a keen interest in photography.
My second camera was a Minolta 35mm SLR, but now after many years of wishing for one, I am lucky to own not one but two Nikon DSLR cameras.
I now belong to the Para camera Club which organize regular outings and competition days. I enjoy the interaction with the other members, learning as much as I as can from them.
Joining the blogger community as given me another outlet for my photographic endeavors. I have discovered there, a whole new world where others come and share their creative talents. I get a lot of inspiration from them.
