Texture Tuesday #8

Wild Goose

The challenge this week was for all to use "yesteryear" texture from Kim Klassen's collection.

1. Duplicate background
2. Yesteryear texture added on 100% softlight blended layer
3. Layer mask applied on bird's neck and head
4. Yesteryear texture added 100% multiply blended layer, rectangular selection deleted to create a frame
5. Duplicated layer #4 to darken border
5. Flatten image and resize for web

That is a truly fabulous shot! I am not a texture fan at all but it works well in this instance. Really great capture.
