Blue Tongue Lizard...

On our way back from Mildura, we stopped on the side of the road to take some shots of the river.
We were following a short trail when we came across this fellow. I am not sure who was the most surprise
I cannot take credit for this image as it was taken by my cousin.

a totally amazing photo. Certainly has a blue-tongue; it's body is quite different markings to the one I have in my garden. Maybe they're cousins!

Fantastic capture by your cousin! Looks like little frog toe pads sticking out of his mouth, although I guess it may not be.

You'll find this is a Shingle Back lizard, not a blue tongue. They are quite different, although both do have a blue tongue.
