I have not had much chance to get near my sewing machine since just before Christmas,
so my first quilt is still not finished.
Ready for quilting.
My niece is expecting a little boy in May, so I have decided to make her a baby quilt.
Stack of material, cut and ready to be put together.
The final design of the coin stack.
Linking up with Lisa, why don't you join me.

how beautiful. this one would really fit into my homy :)
Oh how beautiful, Nadege. So colorful and bright - like springtime - which is perfect for the arrival of your nieces baby. Lovely images you've captured here too. :)
This will come in handy for your niece - and I think each time she looks at it she'll appreciate those bright mix of colours. I'm so NOT skills at patchworking and when I look at combinations like this I wonder how patchworkers such as yourself manage to pull it off - lovely.
Beautiful quilt! Very lovely!
The baby quilt is a great keepsake gift - made with love - you can't do better than that!
That's going to be beautiful Nadege!
What beautiful colors you have chosen Nadege, and I am sure your niece and new little one are just going to love this!
Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at The Creative Exchange.
Have a wonderful day!

This is beautiful, Nadege! Your niece is so blessed to have an auntie who is so talented. Patchwork quilts are such a lovely gift for a new baby and a treasure to keep (my Mum made one for each of her 8 Grand-children).
I wish I still had the patience to make a quilt.
Ohh, the colors are so pleasing to the eyes. It will be a cherished quilt made with much love.
Beautiful colors and design! I have quilts made for my adult children when they were babies. Can't let them go....
Beautiful strong colours - I'm sure it will make a wonderful quilt.
I love those colours and can't wait to see the finished quilt! What a beautiful present!
I think it will be very nice.
Yum, love the colors that you've chosen! What a special gift that will be!
This will be so beautiful. Amazing work!!!
Greetings from Hilda
Looks like it will be lovely,I'm saving up my daughters dresses to make one :)
Can't wait to see it finished - and it reminds me that I have a quilt that my grandmother sewed together but still needs to be quilted!
Looks amazing so far..
Here's what I know about sewing and quilting....nothing. BUT I can admire. The colors you have selected for the new baby are beautiful. I have a quilt made by my great grandmother....I treasure it. I'm sure yours will be treasured one day years from now too.
I love these fabric pieces for a baby quilt. They are perfectly gender neutral!
I love the rainbow of stacked fabric! What a treasured gift that will be!
Very nice.
Regards and best wishes
These are wonderful! I love the depth of field in the first one; it really showcases the process as well as the fabric. And the fabric stack is beautiful both for its colors and for the rawness of the pieces. I used to quilt but just don't have time anymore, so I love seeing what others are making!
I love them all!
