China Girl...

My cousin from France is currently staying with us. We haven't seen each other for over twenty years and my days have been full catching up and showing her around our little town of Adelaide and the surrounding areas.  Today we went on the Port River Cruise and we were lucky enough to see some dolphins. I will be posting some new photos next week, but in the meantime I though you might enjoy a few more of my favorite from 2011.

Community Concert...

A few month back the Parafield Community Centre put on a concert to raise some money for the people of Queensland who suffered so much loss due to major flooding in the region. This was my first effort at taking shots at such an event. The day was quite glorious and these guys really rocked the place.

On The Trail...

When I purchased my horse "Jazz", I was only able to ride on the weekend. Back in 1973, there were a lot of dirt tracks at the back of Clarendon where you could go for long ride outs. On this day, I was carrying my Minolta SLR around my neck, when these two lovely ponies came up to the fence to check us out. I could not resist these shots. Unfortunately with the spread of suburbia, those trails are now long gone.
