Balloon Fiesta - Night Glow...

During our long weekend in Renmark, we went to the Sports' Oval to watch some of 

the Hot Air Balloon pilots put on a show called 'Night Glow'.

The balloon were inflated, but stayed tethered, then the pilots took turn in firing up

their burners for spectacular light show.

I had to boost my ISO significantly and keep the lens wide open to get these shots.

This one is from my archives. Taken on our holiday's in Cairn, Queensland.

I was trying some long exposure with my Nikon D90.

I like the abstract look of this image.

Arno Bay Jetty...

Got up quite early to catch the sunrise over the Arno Bay Jetty.

It was beautiful and quiet as the tide was slowly rolling in.

Another Grey Day...

         I think autumn has passed us by and winter has settled right in, so I am posting some photos taken when the days were longer and the night still warm. Took a drive to Pt Adelaide with a group from my camera club for a twilight shoot. Richard, my husband came too and we had a great time looking for good locations.
