Twirls...

Having a little fun with the Twirls effect in PS9 that Lisa told us about recently.
The tutorial can be found here.

Original image.
I tried the "mouse over code" from Kim Klassen to no avail.

Good morning Nadege,
Lot of fun, but it makes the original look even more exquisite. Such soft colours in this dutch Iris.

I love the mauve swirls on the flower, a very fine flower.

What an amazing effect - reminds me of those spirograph patterns from years ago. Really brings your eyes into the centre. Well done.

I've got to try that....I love this result-one of the prettiest I've seen. I think it's the white that really makes the other colors pop. Thanks for the reminder.

Great use of the twirl effect, Nadege! It's one of my favorite toys, and I've had some pretty amazing results combining pinch and twirl.

Love the colours that were created with the twirling effect. V

Love your twirl! I've tried it with very symmetrical floral images, and like the effect, but your lily is more asymmetrical and results in a more interesting twirl, I think.
I have also had zero luck with the mouseover code... I've tried several different locations for my images (flickr, picasa, etc) but nothing worked. hmmmm.

I cannot make the mouse over thing work either. It is sososososo frustrating. I really do want to learn to do it. Love the twirl. Thanks so much for sharing the site with us. The way the processing turned out is awesome. I really like it. genie
