George Town - Penang...

Clan Jetties - Pengkalan Weld

Took this shot while on holidays in Malaysia.
Clan Jetties are unique Chinese settlements along the Weld Quay, with homes built along wooden piers that extend into the Penang Channel. The residents are all descendant of Chinese immigrants.

This is an awesome shot...beautiful and inviting. I love the processing. The water, sky with its ominous clouds, and gilding make for the perfect photo. I hope you enjoy a “perfect photo” week this week.

Very exotic scenery! By the way, This February, I went to Melbourne and Tasmania. Onthe way to Melbourne, our airplane landed at Adelaide airport. It is kind of serendipity.
