I did create a little Christmas card for Tuesday's post.

My camera club had its End Of Year Trophy Presentation on Wednesday

 and the above image received top honor in the Creative Category.

Thank you all for your inspiration and encouragements. 

This has helped me to try new things and to take the courage to show my work.

The New Toy...and a First Project

Christmas has come early for me. 

Taking advantage of the Christmas sales, I have purchased this Toyota Quiltmaster.

 Practicing my straight stitching before my next quilting class.

Today, I learned how to cut and stitch my little squares together.

My first project is a cushion.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday...

On the hunt for the following:

Portrait, Nostalgic, Time, Full of Light and Motion.

1. Portrait

This exotic beauty allowed me to take her portrait while we were visiting Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur.

2. Nostalgic

Photo taken by Parisian Street Photographer back in 1959.

That's me on the right hanging onto my Dad's hand.

Sunlight coming through the blinds in my bathroom.

The Grey...Adelaide 3DE

This wonderful horse fell at the next fence.

A full contingency of helpers were on hand to help him and the rider.

The rider was ok but the horse had a leg injury which was attended to by the vet.

Cold water was use to bring his temperature down, before he was placed on the horse-float

 to take him back to the stables, for further veterinary attention.
